How
we produce tile murals:
The murals are created with a technology called Dye
Sublimation. Dye sublimation is a process where solid
dye particles are changed into a gas using heat and
pressure, then bond with any polymers present, and
change back into a solid. Since the tile is dyed there
is nothing that can rub off. The result produces stunning
photographic images.
"The Steps in the Process"
1.) An image is digitally formatted and sized into
a mural layout.
2.) Each section of mural is printed onto a special
substrate using specialty dyes. The image is then
transferred onto the tile using our dye sublimation
process.
3.) The Finished Product.
